The Tiffany Center, originally the Neighbors of Woodcraft Building, was completed in 1928. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places this Moderne/Art Deco gem features two large ballrooms and a conference space for a range of event types. Its stunning entrance features a local artist’s reproduction of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel, which underscores the historic 1920’s elegance of Portland’s premier event facility. When the building was constructed it was known as the Neighbors of Woodcraft Building, the home office of Woodcraft Insurance, a fraternal insurance group. The large arched opening with carved gargoyle stone ornaments adds to the uniqueness of the structure. The interior appointments of the lobby, reception rooms and formal event rooms have been maintained with the unique wood paneling, lighting and windows of the original building. Events
