Not too long ago, a friend asked us, what should be, a pretty easy question to answer about our business:
"What really sets you apart as a venue?"
And while I sat there and thought, well, there's a few things that make us different than a lot of venues in Portland:
- We allow our clients to work with anyone they'd like (especially their own caterer) 🍲
- We almost always manage the setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, and linens (and we actually prefer it if you LET us do this) 💪
- We're not very strict about your decor; candles are allowed, you can hang things from our ceilings and windows, plus if you want your pets to join the party, we'd absolutely love to have them 🐶
BUT! None of this is what came to mind as what REALLY sets us apart as a venue. And sometimes it's hard to talk about what we're really good at, because we don't want to sound like we're bragging, or that we think we're better than anyone else, because we're not.
So now you might ask yourself, what DOES make Easton Broad truly different from the rest?
Well, it's pretty simple actually:
We have one of the best bar programs in the industry! We don't just "make drinks" and "pour beer", but we listen to what YOU want and we curate a menu based on your taste, style, and budget. If you need a dark purple drink to match your masquerade-themed fundraiser, then yeah, that's exactly what you're going to get!
There is absolutely zero- zilch- nada- percent chance that we will ever hire "Joe Schmoe" off of craiglist because we need more hands for an event. We guarantee that the staff working behind our bar has been in the industry for years and they are vetted to our very high (and quite picky) standards.
We use fresh ingredients, which means what we can make throughout the year will likely change with the seasons. But if you're looking for some tried and true classic cocktails, we will absolutely ensure they exceed your expectations.
We hear it regularly by our clients and their guests: "This is the best cocktail I've ever tasted!"
