As summer dies and the Harvest Moon rises, the vampires descend upon Southeast Portland.
Join us Sunday, September 27 for the inaugural Procession of the Vampires — a traveling costume party through Southeast Portland.
The procession is free to join. Purchase a wristband for access to food & drink specials at Dot’s, entry into the costume contest, and drink specials at Triple Nickel. Link in comments.
🩸 Opening Gathering — 6–7 PM | SE 28th Place & Clinton St.
Meet your fellow creatures of the night while DJ Psytherial prepares us for a sunset ritual performed by Chelsea RedKnees.
🩸 Sunset Procession — 7–7:30PM | Division St. Loop
We’ll float through the neighborhood, softly scouting the warm-bloods…
🩸 Dot’s Costume Party — 7:30–10:30 PM
Descend upon Dot’s for vampire movies, food & drink specials, and the Costume Contest at 10 PM.
🩸 Procession of the Vampires — 10:30-11:30PM
We take to the streets once more, with a view of the cemetery, for a candlelit procession to the afterparty at Triple Nickel.
🩸 Midnight Vampire Karaoke Afterparty — 11:30pm–2 AM | Triple Nickel
We’ll end the night with more drink specials and karaoke 🎤 Pick your favorite fanged song and serenade us into a spooky spell before we depart to our crypts at 2 AM.
Come dressed as a vampire — romantic, monstrous, ancient, futuristic, glamorous, feral, something entirely your own creation, or simply wear all black and you’ll fit in just fine. Vampire hunters welcome, too. We love the drama.
Bring something for the procession: an LED candle, lantern, goblet, bell, drum, banner, flowers, or another strange and beautiful object to carry into the night.
