I’ve been thinking a lot about how powerful it is when two people decide to build something that lasts, and the older I get, the more I realize marriage isn’t just a celebration, it’s a sacred covenant.

Not because life will always be easy, but because a covenant love requires God to be in the center of it all. When He’s the foundation, the storms may shake you, but they won’t move you.

Watching Travis and Nicole stand together in that little chapel reminded me that marriage is two people choosing to love like Christ does: patiently, sacrificially, consistently, even on the days that don’t feel effortless.

Seeing Mount Hood reflected on Trillium Lake always reminds me how marriage is meant to mirror our relationship with God: patience, faithfulness, integrity, and steady love. As we grow closer to Him, we naturally reflect His character in every relationship.

This place is more than a stunning view; it’s a reminder of God’s mighty hand on my life. I’ll never get tired of photographing here. 🤍

Nick and Lisa flew in for their wedding photos, and every minute with them was a dream.

The newborn phase is its own kind of beautiful.

Parents naturally step into protector mode.

The soft baby voices, the sleepy smiles, the little laughs, even the teary moments. Through it all, there’s this quiet steadiness that only a parent can give.

I loved capturing this cozy in-home session with Lucas, Jen, and sweet Ellie. Such a beautiful little season to freeze in time.
