Student success! Current film majors and recent alumni got to work alongside professionals and faculty on set for Dust, a short film written and directed by Professor Florina Titz. Students worked on sound, lighting, hair and makeup, and more while making industry connections.

This morning we watched our seniors graduate. Tonight we signed two talented high school seniors at the Portales Drama Club banquet. Thank you for having us, Ms Montaño! We’ll take good care of Wendy and Colton.

Theatre for your schools! The Department of Theatre and Digital Filmmaking hosted 300 students from Bella Vista Arts Academy to see Luchadora and 120 preK students from Brown Early Childhood Center to see Rain, Ripple, Rio.

ENMU’s Department of Theatre and Digital Filmmaking is proud to present a stage reading of, “East 2nd Street,” a new play by faculty member LW Miller.

Directed by Clara Kundin with dramaturgy by Leonard Madrid, the play is a gritty retelling of the Peter Pan myth, set on the streets of New York. Playwright LW Miller has been developing the show over the past year, and this staged reading is a final stage of that development.

The show is appropriate for audiences over 15. The reading will be followed by a short talkback. The reading is Friday, May 1 at 7pm in the University Theatre Center (UTC) Blackbox. Attendance is free and no reservation is required.
