Get ready for an exciting weekend! Today, June 6, and tomorrow, June 7, the Air Zoo is hosting a special event where you can experience a ride in a Vietnam War-era Huey Helicopter. Rides will take place daily between 11 AM and 4 PM.

⚠️ The tail number is 66-01126, so if you see the helicopter flying overhead, don't be alarmed! Residents on the southeast side of town…sit back and enjoy the show.

This national honor recognizes leaders who are making a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults through innovation, leadership, and service. We’re proud to see Kim’s dedication to supporting older adults in our community recognized on a national stage.

Good morning, Portage! 🇺🇸 The American Legion Post 207 in Portage will host the 2026 Memorial Day Parade, kicking off at 10 AM on Monday, May 25.

📍 The parade starts near The Crossroads, travels south on South Westnedge Avenue, and ends at Central Cemetery near the Veterans Memorial Park.

✨ At the end of the parade, the legion hosts a ceremony honoring veterans at Veterans' Memorial Park, which is right up next to the Portage Public Library.

🚗 For motorists, be aware that South Westnedge Avenue between The Crossroads and the City Centre will be closed during the parade.
