🖤🤍 Sometimes, color tells the story… and sometimes, it just gets in the way.

There’s something about a black and white image that makes you feel a little more. Without the colors, you notice the little things. The tears falling during the vows. The way someone looks at the person they love. The hands holding a little tighter. The laughter, the quiet moments, the wind blowing the hair, the eyes closing to hold onto the moment for just a little longer, and the emotions that don’t need a single word to explain them.

You stop noticing what everything looks like and start noticing what everything feels like. 🤍

And sometimes, those are the images that tell the story best.

Because at the end of the day, photography isn't just about what a moment looked like… it's about what it felt like to be there. 🖤

And sometimes, black and white captures that feeling in a way color simply can't.

Haha before you ask, yes this is JUST a sneak peek.
Yes I know I have a problem, I can't help it, I'm a bit of an overshooter.
But can you blame me when I have all this cuteness in front of the camera!?! I mean come on even the dog, Link is smiling!!!

Sometimes I still amaze myself with how much cuteness I can capture in only 20 minutes!!!

I LOVE when the flowers compliment the Bridesmaids dresses and when the flowers even compliment the ceremony backdrop! The ceremony backdrop was decorated so beautifully that we had to use it for a backdrop for all the photos! When Emily told me her theme was Garden Party I was so excited and after seeing everything come together, I would say she nailed it!!!

Well I can tell October is officially here I'm officially in busy season 😅😅 and it's crazy already!!!! You guys are just as excited to soak up all these changing fall colors as I am and I'm sooo blessed for it!!! I have a lot of sneaks to catch you guys up on so prepare for those lol! Prepare for all the sneakssss!!!

Anyways I have had a very busy Senior 2027 season and this most recent one we got to venture to a beautiful beach after a reschedule due to Michigan being very bipolar this time of year with her weather choices 🤣🤣 anyways my lovely senior also wanted another location, something unique and fun decor and boy or boy did we find the perfect place!!!

Right by the beach, like 4 minutes from one of my favorite beaches was this adorable property Owned by Nick and his husband. As soon as you pull in you can see the beauty and heart and decor that went into creating this haven and that GREENHOUSE I was in awe! I saw it in photos but it is even more cozy and adorable in person! Nick has thought of everything, blankets, books, plants, a mirror and even an adorable fireplace! Such a cute setup and needless to say with all the setups it was a photographers dream!!! I am dying to go back! Nick thank you so much for sharing a bit of your heavenly oasis with other photographers, you certainly have an eye for this stuff!
