Eat like a fine Barbarian with our handmade burgers & sandwiches and h It became a safe heaven for street art and good food.

Locally sourced, internationally inspired, organic and delicious. Chris and Thais have been travelling, eating and working in restaurants for 13 years. In 2013 they opened Clandestino, a small hand designed trailer parked at the confluence of river and sea at the colonial town of Paraty in Brazil. Barbarian also comes from the marriage of a Brazilian and an Alaska man. To the classics, we add our

international eating experience and fuse Barbarian eating from around the globe with local ingredients. Owned by

A little bit of our history.
Born as Clandestino street food in 2013: us 2, a trailer, a 7 month old in Paraty, Rio, Brasil.
After 3,5 years of fun, lots of burgers, friends, festivals, art and music, we embark on new adventures.
Barbarian is born at beautiful Port Townsend, USA. 6 years of more burgers, fun and an incredible community.
And here we are now, restarting Clandestino as a pop up in Porto.

Em 2013, nasceu Clastestino, nossa primeira é maravilhosa aventura no mundo do street food. Com um recém nascido nos braços e recém chegados em Paraty, no Rio de Janeiro, abrimos fronteira e nos instalamos na beira do rio e na boca do mar com nosso trailer.
Foram muitos hambúrgueres, eventos, colaborações, amigos, perrengues, danava e suor durante 3,5 anos. Fomos muito felizes no meio do caos, de uma natureza deslumbrante e de queridos amigos.
Formamos uma comunidade de gente que abre seu próprio caminho com criatividade, integridade e samba no pé. Na época não havia Instagram.
Mas agora tem.
