ANNOUNCEMENT - URGENT
Attached is an invitation to the public to come to 1536 Jackson Street tomorrow at 11:00 am and apply for help with paying for energy costs this winter. Applications will be distributed and assistance will be available. The Senior Center will provide copies of the required documentation that will need to be included with your application. The list of required documents are shown in the attachment.

Attention all composters. Right this minute, two large boxes of lettuce and other vegetables that are designated as 'perfect composting material' are in front of the Sr Center front doors. There are plastic bags for your use in transporting the organic compounds to your garden.
Don't forget, the Community Dinner is tonight beginning at 5:00. Christian has prepared pulled pork and is currently making a salsa to be served tonight. Christian is a professional chef. He's the guy that made the braised chicken.

The June calendar is attached. New this month,
Port Orford Garden Club will begin meeting at the Sr enter the second Wednesday of each month beginning June 10th at 1pm I the rec room.

Pool is heating up for the summer. Pool players meet every other Saturday from 4 to 6pm. June 13 is the next gathering. Our current pool players are hoping to enlarge the group, eventually holding a pool tournament. Anyone interested in being contacted by phone call or text when an ad hoc pool game arises, please either call the Sr Center at 541-332-5771 or send an email to [email protected] and we will put you on the contact list.
