I typically do not respond to negative comments, and I don’t engage in a lot of the nonsense online. When I receive a negative review, I always try to use it as a learning experience, and I speak with our staff about what we can do differently, and WE IMPLEMENT THAT.
However, this review is false, so “Allie” I hope you’re reading! You said when you looked up the owners that we aren’t even military even though it says veteran owned and women owned. Did you happen to spell my husbands last name correctly in your search? I know it’s a tricky one! Try again. Also, I’m a woman… hence, the women owned portion.
You say our staff changes frequently. However, we’ve had the same few staff members for many months and they typically work their same schedule week after week. We did graciously provide coverage for the month of October so one of those wonderful employees could visit a family member out of state.
You’re correct about one thing… we don’t offer a military discount. That’s because we offer plenty of other discounts! We do weekly (sometimes daily) specials. We offer discounts for specific weeks at a time (teachers, first responders, etc.)! We also are very generous in donating and pouring back into our community in a plethora of ways, because we truly LOVE the community we’re a part of. Does your local Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts do any of that? Nah, not really!
You say that you visit consistently also. Yet, the only review you’ve left is a negative one. Surely you’ve had positive experiences here if you continued to return. Perhaps sharing one of those instead of bashing a small business that has worked UNBELIEVABLY hard to get to where we are today would’ve been more kind.
I had a dream to be self-employed, to provide an income for others, to be the type of boss that I never had but always wanted, to be able to serve my community and create something fun and different. And I did just that.
So… I won’t be taking constructive criticism from people who haven’t constructed s**t.

And if you’ve made it this far… I implore you to start leaving positive reviews for small businesses when you’ve enjoyed their services, instead of continuing to bash them because WE are the ones donating back to this community.
