We put together a menu for this party that gave everyone plenty of choices.

We started with nachos and chili, vegetable cups, pasta salad, sausage, peppers and onion sandwiches, and pulled pork sliders with coleslaw. Then we served Italian grilled chicken, mac and cheese and corn on the cob.

That is one of the best parts about catering. The menu does not have to come from a set package. We can mix things up and help you put together a menu that fits your party and the food your guests will actually enjoy.

Today we remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, the families forever changed and the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Their courage inspired my brothers and me to become volunteer first responders ourselves. For the past 17 years, we have been proud to serve our community, help others and give back however we can.

We will never forget.

Thank you to everyone who came out to see us yesterday at the Memorial Madness Car Show in Hackettstown. It meant so much to have so many Sauced and Rubbed followers stop by after seeing our posts, grab some food and say hello. We truly appreciate all the support.

As we celebrate Labor Day, we are especially grateful for the hard work our family and staff put into the heart of this business. Sauced and Rubbed would not be what it is without their dedication, long hours and commitment.

We hope everyone has a safe and happy Labor Day.
