The next Total Eclipse will happen in 2 years.

On August 2, 2027, the world will witness the longest total solar eclipse of the century.

Known as the Great North African Eclipse, it will plunge parts of North Africa, Southern Europe, and the Middle East into darkness for 6 minutes and 23 seconds — longer than any other eclipse on land this century. The Moon will completely block the Sun, revealing the glowing solar corona to millions of viewers along its path.

The eclipse will cross Spain, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen, with Luxor, Egypt offering one of the best locations for maximum totality. A similar event will not happen again until the year 2114.
