They have recently retired from their careers and are moving onto a new venture offering an outdoor wedding venue in their backyard. Roberta has a passion for design that will make your special day one to remember. John is a licensed officiant and is available to perform your ceremony if desired. They like to call their venue a style of "shabby chic" but will alter it to your liking. John and Robe

rta will welcome you, listen to your thoughts and wishes as they treat you like family. As hosts they will provide an intimate and quaint setting for a wedding or special event. Their home is located along the beautiful Wisconsin River in Port Edwards. The setting will provide a beautiful and welcoming yard with many floral arrangements, a large flower garden with a water fountain which provides tranquility and peacefulness. The yard will seat your family and friends comfortably. There are gorgeous settings for your photos such as a personalized decorated wedding arch, the garden of flowers, the beautiful Alexander House and of course the lovely Wisconsin River. Imagine arriving on your wedding day having every detail to your liking ready and waiting for you. Including music, seating, florals, and a gorgeous wedding arch. A large old stone fireplace will be your perfect setting for an optional glass of wine or champagne and hors d’oeuvres in celebration of your special day for you and your guests. John and Roberta will ensure your day will be filled with beauty, laughter and love.

Sometimes life gives us beautiful surprises! On May 25, 2025 Jazzmin and Cordero were married and “snuck over here” after their wedding ceremony to The Wedding Garden for and few photos. I was sworn to secrecy, but was just given permission to share there blessed news of their marriage! Jazzmin was excited to tell me that her family was “definitely surprised, but super happy”!!
