Son,
Today you turn 18, and it’s hard to put into words what this moment means to me. It feels like just yesterday I was holding you for the first time, and now you’re stepping into adulthood with your whole life ahead of you.
I am so proud of the person you’ve become. Your strength, your kindness, your sense of who you are. Watching you grow has been one of the greatest joys of my life. You’ve taught me more than you’ll ever know, and I’m grateful every single day to be your parent.
As you begin this new chapter, remember that you don’t have to have everything figured out. Life is about learning, growing, and sometimes stumbling along the way. Stay true to yourself, be kind to others, and never be afraid to chase what matters to you.
No matter how old you get or where life takes you, you will always be my son, and I will always be here for you—cheering you on, believing in you, and loving you unconditionally.
