Thank God we added onto the chapel!!!!

It really is kind of fitting that our oldest daughter was the first to get married and use the barn.
Our second daughter was the first to get married in the new addition to the chapel.

We buried a hotdog and hung a Rosary; I guess these are things you can do to make it not rain 🤷‍♀️.

Well, after a week of looking at the weather and seeing that the percentage of it raining on Saturday was 95 percent, we were so thankful we added onto the chapel. Let me tell you, it helped with our stress level immensely.

We were also so thankful that Ashly Chandler Photography, the photographer, was able to come a tad bit earlier to get some outdoor photos before the rain.

And absolutely even more grateful that our Amazon order of clear umbrellas arrived at the venue two hours before the ceremony. As we walked our baby girl up the aisle to one of her favorite songs, "Goodness of God" beautifully sung by Amy, the pastor's wife, during a beautiful soft rain, I could only think that all those raindrops were a message from heaven from Mason, Grandma and Grandpa Price, Papa Roggenbuck, and Reece's bonus Grandpa Randy Rutkowski.

I was reminded of THE GOODNESS of GOD♥️

Big things happening!!!! We were able to start on the addition to the chapel this week. We are extremely excited.😊 But if I’m being honest, I have to remind myself, it has to get worse before it gets better!!!

It got me to thinking….I know, this could be scary, when I really start thinking🤣.

Building and re-building is not easy.
But either is having a wonderful marriage.

Today Perry and I are celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. We had some work and some final decisions to make on the addition. This man has had worked so hard and extremely long hours to make my visions come to fruition!

Most days if we actually eat at a restaurant and have time to dream up the next plan, we use a napkin and Perry borrows a pen from our waitstaff. And we magically come together and figure out our next move.

How lucky are we??

Some plans work out and some don’t. Just like a day of being married!

This morning, standing behind the chapel, we didn’t have our napkin. So my husband (knowing how visual I am) bends down and starts drawing out the back wall in the sand.

Minutes later….we (he) had it figured out. And I loved it!!!

Now when it’s done, I’m not exactly 100 percent sure it will look exactly like the photo in the sand.

But I’m 100 percent certain I am gonna love it when it’s done!

Because today those moments weren’t about the drawing in the sand.

It was EVERYTHING about the handsome man that was on his knees drawing up our next goal.

How lucky am I???
