Had to come out of retirement to decorate for my organization Zeta Amicae of Houston’s Scholarship Tea. My plan involved a few projects that had to be completed before the set up day which was May 30, 2026 in Houston, TX.
On the day of our event: I draped backdrops in the foyer and main program space of the venue and also designed the flower arrangements for those areas as well as completing the tea table decor. I designed and executed the decor in the foyer, minus the balloon work and the entry sign, those were done by my sisters in the organization.
I designed, executed, and provided the linens and decor for the buffet table. The food was prepared by one of my sisters in the organization. It was indeed a wonderful and rewarding occasion. We provided scholarships for two recipients, who’s on their way to higher education. Best wishes to them as they pursue all their endeavors!
This is one tired boss lady, that was reminded why she retired the event decorating side of the business, but is still available for all your floral and craft needs. Shoutout to my team my daughters Kienia and Ardawna as well as Lillie McAllister for their labor of love. I couldn’t have completed the task without them.
