ONE WEEK DOWN. 🎒🙌

Poplar Bluff, you survived the first week of school.

The lunches got packed. The alarms went off. Everybody found their classrooms. Parents remembered how the pickup line works. Mostly. 😏

And now it’s Friday.

Which means absolutely nobody should have to figure out what’s for dinner tonight.

We’re here for lunch 11–3 with our tuna salad special on a croissant, and if you haven’t tried it yet, you really should. She’s good.

Then at 5:00, the STEAK TIPS are back.

Steak tips + mashed potatoes + veg med. A proper Friday-night dinner after a very long first week.

And tonight, we want to hear about it.
If you’re willing, we may stop by your table and ask one very important question:
“So… how was your first week of school?”

Kindergartners. Seniors. College kids. Teachers. Moms and dads who barely survived it themselves. 😂 We want all of you.

We have a feeling the answers might be pretty good.

And while you’re downtown, make a whole Friday night of it. Our neighbor Tad at Archer Gift Co. is having a Sip & Shop tonight, so go see what he’s up to, come let us feed you, and maybe finish the night with a little cheers to the new school year at Half Whiskey’s.

And since Monday is the first day of school, we decided our first B.O.M. needed one more little thing.

While you're here, nominate a teacher or school employee who you think deserves a little extra love going into the new school year.

Before we close Sunday, we'll draw one name.

On Monday morning, Mimi's will have a little First Day Survival Package waiting for them: coffee, something sweet, and a little something from us, along with a note that says:

“Someone thought you deserved a little extra love on the first day. So did we.”

No purchase for them. No strings attached. And they don't even have to know they've been nominated.

Just tell us who deserves it and why.

Let's start our first B.O.M. by helping somebody else start their year feeling appreciated.
