POV: you were going to film the whole process…

This is the only video I have lol

I got distracted making the actual flower 😂

But these orange petals did eventually become a giant beauty🧡

Should I show you the finished flower next?

These flowers will always have a story behind them that I’ll never forget. 🧡💜

I custom made these giant blooms for A Weekend For Love at the beautiful Perry Lane Hotel, working with Michelle Gainey | Atlanta Wedding & Event Planner to create flowers that matched the colors and vision they had for this beautiful experience.

Just days before the event, our house was struck by lightning and caught fire. Some of these flowers were damaged by water during the firefighting, and in the middle of everything happening with our home, I ended up repairing flowers in my hotel room so they would still be ready for the event.

It was a crazy few days, but I was determined to show up with the flowers I had promised. Seeing them standing there as part of the finished design made this setup mean so much more to me.

Definitely one I’ll remember forever. ❤️

Obsessed with how this giant poppy turned out 🧡

This one was inspired by the incredibly talented Alina at Giant Flowers Sculptures & Installations | Alina Blossom . I’ve admired her beautiful work for a while and it inspired me to challenge myself and create one of these giant poppies!

Lots of cutting, shaping, hand brushing and tiny details later… she’s almost 4 ft wide 😍

Handmade right here in Savannah.

Now tell me, where should she bloom next? 👀
