Long post alert:
Yall we had an amazing first week at the shop and we are so grateful to you for all this support. I saw so many of our food truck regulars and also a lot of new faces! As a small business owner, that is just so exciting to me! Thank you for giving us a try!
Friday was especially busy and we learned a lot, so if yall waited long for your sandwiches, we are definitely taking steps to accommodate. Thank you for your patience!
Also, I think we did good, but if we did not meet your expectations in any way, please message me.. I truly want to know!
Now, since we have so many new faces, I thought I would reintroduce myself to the community π
Hi! My name is Amanda Leigh Ivy. I am a classically trained chef with degrees in Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry and Restaurant Management which I received from The University of Arkansas PTC. I have been cooking professionally for 14yrs and have a background in both Fine Dining and more Fast Casual environments. I was a Bread Baker all through Culinary School and found that it was something I am very passionate about.
I cooked in Arkansas for 11 years and in that time helped open 11 Restaurant Concepts and was also very fortunate to have multiple opportunities to film with the Food Network. I also received several awards for Best Food Truck, Best Chef and Best Caterer in my time in Little Rock.

I am also an Army Veteran and a Miltary Spouse. My Husband Kyle is currently serving his last few years in the Air Force at Minot, North Dakota. Yes, that means we're living apart π I am very proud of him and we are very excited to settle in Pontotoc.
My parents have had property here for 40 years and we knew we wanted to be near family after our Travels with the Military.
I'm so grateful to this community for accepting me and helping me grow and I can't wait to see where we go with this!
If yall have never tried my food truck, it's called The Bleu Plate Truck and we are open mostly at night. If you give that page a follow, I keep everyone posted on our Menu and schedule, but you can usually find us at our lot that is attached to the sandwich shop.
