This Easter, we reflect on the power of renewal, hope, and new beginnings. Just as the resurrection reminds us of what is possible through faith and perseverance, so too does our journey together as a community.

In Pontiac, we are rising from challenges to opportunities, from division to unity, and from doubt to purpose.

Let’s continue building a future we can all believe in and stay rooted in faith, service, and community.

April is Autism Awareness Month

A History Fact you should know:

Autism Awareness Month was founded in April 1970 by Bernard Rimland, Ph. D., a psychologist and autism researcher. He chose the month of April to coincide with his son’s birthday, as well as the start of spring—a time for new beginnings.

As someone who has spent decades serving our community—in education, public safety, and now as a candidate for Mayor of Pontiac—I understand the importance of creating a city where everyone is seen, supported, and celebrated.

Autism is not a limitation—it’s a different way of experiencing the world. That’s why, during this month and beyond, I remain committed to advocating for inclusive policies, stronger mental health support, and accessible city services for families and individuals impacted by autism.

My campaign is about building a Pontiac where all our neighbors—regardless of ability—can thrive. Let’s lead with compassion, awareness, and action.

I just want to publicly thank my wife, best friend , buisness partner and strongest supporter for keeping me focus and safe. Through all the ups and downs these past few months she has been the consistent strength I’ve needed.

I’m a better man because she is an amazing woman. Born and raised off the east side of Pontiac. Trusting the process started with her first.

I’m so grateful to have the opportunity and privilege to, represent my family and teammates on a local , state and national platform in 2023.

Continuing in 2024 I’m going to give more of myself and bring stronger solutions to every situation that comes my way.

I had an amazing progression and elevation in 2023 , I achieved a new level of emotional strength and mental toughness that has prepared me for this level of success.

THIS DID NOT HAPPEN OVERNIGHT! I did nothing but show up, even if the rooms were empty. I got BACK UP when I was knocked down. I intentionally pursed GOD even when the emotional pain was unbearable. I didn’t overreact or overthink why certain things happened, I just kept my mouth shut and KEPT THE RECEIPTS!

I encourage and urge you to SHOW UP and BE SEEN in 2024. Dominant even when you don’t feel strong. BE intentional in PROVING TO YOURSELF , That you are enough and I promise you that THE BLESSINGS WILL FIND YOU.
