For those about to rock...
If you received this email, that means either you or your kid has signed up for Rock U: Counterpoint - and this year's event is shaping up to be EPIC!
Here are some frequently asked questions and some answers to go with them:
WHEN/ WHERE SHOULD I SHOW UP?
Check-in is from 4pm-6pm THIS Friday at Kauai Christian Fellowship. Pick-up is Sunday at noon (at the latest).
DO I NEED A TENT?
Yes. If you are camping on the church lawn, you need to bring your own tent, sleeping bag etc. Restrooms & showers are available at the church. Adult supervisors will be on hand in both the guys & girls camps for the duration of the event.
DO I NEED TO BRING FOOD?
No. Meals are included in the tuition fee. Healthy snacks like fruit and veggies will be available for free throughout the event. Not-so-healthy stuff like candy bars and soda will be available for purchase.
SHOULD I BRING MY INSTRUMENT?
Definitely. We'll have lots of gear for you to try out but by all means bring your stuff! HOWEVER... Make sure to put your name on it! Especially things like cables, pedals, capos etc! That will help ensure that all the gear you bring makes it home. Your stuff is your responsibility!
CAN MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS COME TO THE CONCERT SATURDAY NIGHT?
Yes. The concert is free to Rock U campers. For everyone else, there is a suggested donation on $5 at the door. The concert will feature Nashville-based singer-songwriter Joanna Beasley, Cabell Tice all the way from Boston, new songs from yours truly as well as performances from YOUR KIDS!

Friday:
4-6 Check in
6-7 Dinner / Free time
7-8 Orientation / Games
8:30 -9:30 - Concert in The Red Room
9:30-11 Open Mic
Saturday:
8-9 Breakfast
9-10 General Session: Counterpointers: How to play and live well with others. featuring the Rock U Think Tank.
10-12 Group Jam
12-1 Lunch / lesson sign ups
1-5 One-on-one instruction: Guitar, bass, drums, piano, uke, recording studio, vocals, songwriting, etc.
5-6 Dinner
6-7 Free time
7-9 CONCERT: Joanna Beasley, Cabell Tice, Jeremy Hartshorn, The Rock U All-Stars
9-11 The Rock U All-Star Jam
Sunday:
6:30 am - Breakfast
7am- Worship rehearsal
8:30 1st Service featuring the Rock U All Stars
10:15 2nd Service featuring the Rock U All Stars
