Nominate a Western Weekend Grand Marshal!

West Marin residents are invited to help honor our standout community members by submitting nominations for the Western Weekend Parade Grand Marshal and Junior Grand Marshal.

The selected Marshals will lead our June 7 parade, have their bios featured, speak on KWMR and receive other special recognitions. They will be formally introduced at the Western Weekend Barn Dance on June 6.

This annual tradition honors those who embody the spirit of West Marin - exemplifying excellence, leadership and service.

Last year's recipeints (pictured) were college student David Rodriguez and Bob Giacomini of Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company,

Nominations must be submitted by March 31. Applications are available at WesternWeekend.org. and at Toby's Feedbarn and the Building Supply.

It’s Western Weekend! Join us tomorrow at noon in downtown Point Reyes Station to cheer on the iconic Point Reyes dairyman (the big cheese!), Bob Giacomini, this year’s Grand Marshal for the parade.

Cookie Contest this Saturday at the Wild West Farmers Market! 🍪 😋

The Cookie Contest will take place this Saturday, June 7th, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

We are currently looking for contestants to participate in the competition!

Contest Details:
Rules: Entries should include the title, your name, your phone number, and the recipe. Only one entry per person.

Ingredients: Ingredients must be all-natural (natural does not contain any artificial ingredients, coloring, or chemical preservatives), and seasonal.

Judging Criteria: Homemade products will be judged on taste and presentation. Extra points for beautiful and creative submissions.
