Thirteen years ago, Blair O'Donnell took care of our little kindergartener, Presley. This weekend, we returned the favor and took care of her daughter, Grace.

Congratulations to Andrew and Grace Longmire! It was a beautiful wedding.

On Thursday, a Randolph County legend passed away. Peggy Reed was so much—born and raised on the banks of the Black River, she was a natural beauty. She was the second Miss Randolph County and the owner and designer of a Pocahontas institution, Blooms and Bows Florist. She was quite the businesswoman.

I’m proud to say Peggy was my friend, and I’ll forever hold on to the treasures she gifted me—from pictures to old magazines to floral supplies. It’s an honor to design your tribute, Peggy.
