Introducing... The Barn On the Pemi

The newest addition to The Common Man’s distinctly New Hampshire family spent the last 177 years or so housing livestock and storing potatoes on the Peverly Farm in the historic village of
Canterbury, NH. Keeping true to our Yankee ways, we salvaged this treasure, lovingly took it apart –board by board, beam by beam – and moved it to a beautiful spot with a vie

w of the Pemigewasset River, adjacent to our Italian Farmhouse in Plymouth, NH. This three-story, 10,000 square foot event facility opens in June 2018, and will host up to 300 guests for gatherings and celebrations of
all kinds. The Barn features...

• Built-in dance floor, table risers and two bars

To ensure you have plenty of time to fully experience The Barn and receive our undivided attention, we do ask that tours and pre-event visits be scheduled in advance. You can call us at 603-536-3515, email your sales and event manager or submit an inquiry on our website to schedule your tour.

**please note, on wedding days all tours must conclude by noon so that our couples can enjoy their special day without interruption.

Not sure where to start with your wedding day schedule? We’ve put together our recommended timeline to help your day run smoothly. The truth is, it’s YOUR day, and you can do whatever feels right for you. 💍 But here’s a flow we’ve found works best at the Barn!

📸 2:30pm – First look (if you’re opting for one!) + photos
🌿 4:30–5:00pm – Ceremony
🍸 5:00–6:00pm – Cocktail hour
🥂 6:00–6:30pm – Introductions, first dance & speeches
🍽️ 6:30–7:30pm – Dinner
🍰 7:30–8:00pm – Cake cutting & parent dances
💃 8:00–11:00pm – Dancing (and late-night snacks!)
🍻 11:30pm–12:30am – After-hours party at Foster’s Boiler Room 🎉

Yes! We allow candles as décor, but only if the flame is fully contained. Taper candles and pillar candles must be placed inside glass cylinders, and votives must be in holders. For safety, any candles located where guests may walk, such as stairs, aisles, or near the fireplace, must be LED.
