Have you ever wondered where the saying 'Tie the Knot came from?"
One theory is that it is rooted in c centuries old wedding tradition
called the "Handfasting Ceremony". Handfasting is an ancient Celtic practice that can be traced back to the Medieval era. Tied knots symbolize love and marriage. This is one of my favorites symbolic rituals to incorporate in the couples Wedding Ceremony. Each Handfasting is unique so that it fully represents the couple and their love.
