I love when a room comes together. 👌

If you didn’t know, I have the privilege of planning special events and mission experiences for the Arthritis Foundation in my full time role.

Every year I get to be a part of our largest fundraiser in TN and bring our Gala to life. This year we moved to Sycamore Farms and it was the perfect backdrop for an evening of hope.

The lilac and sage were the perfect colors for the evening and the simple and timeless table design made it easy for many good conversations to exist.

The flowers gave us a run for our money, but we managed to pull them together even in the midst of a heat wave, a U-Haul truck, and a freezer mishap!

As always, I’m thankful to be a part of this event and the mission it stands for.

Now, we move into fall wedding season this week!

You skip the big ceremony and reception and focus on the intimate details and celebrating with your absolute closest friends and family. It’s quiet, it’s intentional, and it’s more special than you ever imagined.

That’s the benefit of a micro wedding. With a small guest count of 30 or less you can truly create a magical and intimate experience that will make your day less about the hustle and bustle and more about love.

This couple chose Cheekwood as their backdrop for their I dos with just 28 very special guests in attendance. They then had a delectable dinner at Stoney River to celebrate their union. There were plenty of laughs, amazing food, and most importantly… time to spend with their favorite people as they walked into their newest season of life as one.

What do you think about micro weddings being a trend on the rise??

To the fathers who kiss boo boos and change tires, to the ones who wipe tears and give the tickles. They come in all shapes, colors and sizes but one things for sure… the world is a better place because of you.

Happy Father’s Day to all the special men in our lives and yours. Especially to the ones who cry when they see their baby girls for the time in their wedding gowns.
