The lights are off, the sound of kids laughing and playing, the smell of fair food, the sounds of livestock and the roar of the engines are gone. That must mean it’s a wrap on the 2025 Pike County Illinois Fair. What a week it was, Mother Nature may have tried to knock us down, but we dug in and did what we could to make it a memorable week for everyone that came out to support us. To all of our patrons that came through the gates, sponsors, vendors, promoters, contestants, volunteers, exhibitors, law enforcement and first responders we thank you! We may be a small fair, but we couldn’t do it without all your support.
Towards the end of a long day today of cleaning up the grounds we found something that put a smile on our faces. It’s the little things that keep us going sometimes. Stay tuned for another new event coming to the Pike County Illinois Fairgrounds later this year that you won’t want to miss. (See you under the big top😉)
