Wedding details, the calm before the storm. Or at least that's how it feels most of the time. There are so many moving parts to a wedding and at times the small details are missed. I love capturing the little details from the wedding day, before all the main events begin.

A few months ago my friend passed away leaving behind her husband and their two little girls. His world may have been falling apart, but he still shows up for his girls, calm, steady, full of love. Capturing fathers like him reminds me that strength isn't loud, it's in the quiet moments, the gentle moments, with a forever loving presence. Plus we knew Em would be pi**ed if we missed out on Rhylee's first birthday photos. Here's to the amazing people that still show up for their kids, even when s**t gets hard.

My sister asked me if I could come take "like one or two" photos of her horse who has been very successful in the show ring. While I did take photos of her horse and her winnings, I also couldn't stop there. And my sister knew it! When I asked why she had her show hat out she replied with "because I knew you would somehow end up making me take photos too". Yes sister I will! So enjoy these photos of my sister and her soul horse ❤️

Part 2!!!! Towards the end of her session she asked if she could get a couple pictures of her and her boyfriend in their matching boots and somehow include their promise rings. You bet we can girl! Seriously such a fun session with one of my favorite families to honor the hard work this lady has put in. Here's to the class of 2025!

Yet another fabulous senior session! And she totally deserves two posts. This young lady wanted some aloha in Oregon. So we went on a short hike and found her a beautiful waterfall to showcase her hula skills. Stick around for part two soon.

Had the pleasure of capturing some newborn photos for this sweet family. Kacie and Nick are two of the most kind and loving people I've met. And the love they have for their sweet boy is unmeasurable. This boy is so loved by such a great family! I can't wait to keep seeing your family grow ❤️

I have to say, a walk in the park in the fall with a sweet family is definitely a top 5 favorite for me as a photographer. Especially with I get to see the loved shared by their parents. Hannah you and your brother have the most beautiful families. Thank you for letting me capture you all and going for a walk in the park with me!

Anthony: oh idk I just trust you to do your thing.
Me: say no more, let's make some creative s**t.
So awesome watching this young man grow up and see him really grow as an adult. Proud of the man you've becoming friend.

It's been so fun seeing everyone post their winter minis on social media! But before I share some of my favorites I thought I would share the last wedding of the summer. Jolene and Matt, you two are such a perfect match. It was an absolute honor being at your wedding and getting to capture the love you two have for each other! So happy for the beautiful future you both will share.

Part 2 of this sweet lady's grad photos!! Despite getting stung by a bumble bee it was definitely a top 10 favorite of sunset sessions! Definitely giving the sound of music vibes with her spinning in the field. I may have even subjected her to my singing 🤷‍♀️ oops.

My Story

Even as a kid I truly enjoyed photography. There's something about capturing a picture that makes you feel it, not just see it. As I grew up I tried new things and took more classes within the world of photography. I have been everything from a landscape photographer to an underwater photographer. But with time I found I really enjoyed taking portraits, especially when I could get people to truly smile. So that's what I've been doing, helping others document memories one shutter click at a time!
