Please join us for an unforgettable service learning trip to Guatemala from March 25th to April 4th.

Our service of preparing homes for concrete floors will be done in villages surrounding and in the city of Cahabon.

Additionally, we will experience cultural activities with the families in their homes and in other parts of the area. We will spend time in the beauties of Semic Champay as well as traveling to visit the Mayan ruins of Tikal.

The cost for the trip will be $1,600 NOT including airfare.

How can I put the last two weeks into words...? So happy, fun, very spiritual, uplifting, full of unity, giving, the best music night after night, and receiving so much good.... My heart is full because of 120 teenage singers, 30 adult chaperones who are my friends and examples, and our little group of 10 youth, who made me feel so loved and were the best-est and funnest people ever! choir tour has my heart! ❤️🎶

The mama of this chunk of love and I are here up say it's *very possible* to:
1. Have successful VBAC (vaginal birth after a Cesarean) 💙
2. Have an unmedicated induction 💙 (if you choose to)
3. Birth a big baby! (10 lbs 6oz , in this case) 💙
4. Push "self-directed" and have little to no tearing (one stitch in this case) 💙

*the key is in choosing your provider and support team, as well as getting super educated on VBACs!

*much lower and slower pitocin than usual Turn it down and/or off once you get going. The worst that can happen is needing to turn it back on! 😉

*use affirmations and support that helps you trust your body and the birth process

*Watch positive birth videos of the many different positions you can push in! (Kneeling or hands and knees works great for lots of moms)

*read up and practice "mindful pooping" to help you feel confident with "mindful pushing"
