ME AND YOUR EVENT PLANNER ARE NOT THE SAME.

And baby, that's not shade. That's just understanding the difference between planning an event and DESIGNING an experience.

See, I don't just show up on event day, put some flowers on a table, add a little draping, and call it luxury.

I CREATE THE ENTIRE VISION.

Before a single centerpiece is placed, before the first linen is laid, and before anybody walks through those doors, I've already been designing.

I'm talking about everything from the initial concept and color palette to the florals, draping, tablescapes, focal points, lighting, and overall atmosphere.

And YES, I provide design mockups! Because I want my clients to SEE the vision before we ever bring it to life.

We're not just picking pretty colors and hoping everything comes together.

We're creating a cohesive design where every detail has a purpose, every element complements the next, and the entire space tells a story.

From the first idea to the final reveal, I'm designing the experience from beginning to end.

Now, don't get me wrong. Event planners are essential! They handle the timelines, logistics, vendor coordination, and all the moving parts that keep an event running smoothly.

But as an Event Designer, my focus is on how your event looks, feels, and comes to life.

Because there's a difference between having a beautifully decorated room and walking into a space that has been intentionally designed just for YOU.

And THAT'S what I bring to the table.

🎂 A Birthday Note from the Woman Behind the Brand

Today, I’m celebrating 41 years of life and taking a moment to reflect on just how much I have to be grateful for.

Behind every event, every design, every late night, every creative idea, and every beautiful celebration is a woman who has grown right alongside this business.

At 41, I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to do work that I genuinely love, for every client who has trusted me with their most meaningful moments, and for every person who has supported Designed By A Diva Events along the way.

Building a business has taught me that success isn’t only measured by what you accomplish—it’s also measured by how much you grow while accomplishing it.

This year, I’m walking into my next chapter with greater wisdom, clearer vision, deeper gratitude, and even bigger dreams for what’s ahead.

Most importantly, I’m thankful to Jehovah for another year of life, for His guidance, and for every blessing that has brought me to this moment. 🤍
