Every wedding teaches us something, and this one reminded us that perfection isn’t what makes a day unforgettable.
Just minutes before Kaitlyn & Yonatan’s ceremony, the radar changed. The forecast we’d been watching all day suddenly showed a heavy downpour arriving at the exact moment they were supposed to walk down the aisle.
We gathered everyone, talked through the options, and prepared for a last-minute change if they wanted one.
Instead, they smiled and said, “Let’s do it.”
And so we did.
As the rain poured down, they exchanged vows surrounded by the people they love most. Guests laughed, umbrellas appeared from every direction, vendors adapted without missing a beat, and what could have been remembered as a weather setback became one of the most joy-filled ceremonies we’ve ever witnessed.
No one complained.
No one focused on the rain.
Everyone focused on the reason they were there.
Here’s to couples who embrace the unexpected, vendors who step up and work together, and memories that become even sweeter because they weren’t part of the original plan.
Rain or shine, we’re here for it all. 🌧️🫶
