“What specifically is catering?” I’ve gotten this question a lot lately since opening my shop downtown so let me explain what catering really means to ME :

-Private parties (orders for tailgating or block parties ranging from 10-100 people. No party is too small).

-Meal prepping- Let me prepare your meal for your family and take it to go!!! I’ve been blessed to prepare meals for folks post surgery during their recovery)

-Custom orders: Whether it is a tray of cheesy au-gratin tators for your Sunday pot luck or pig shots for your backyard BBQ……. We’ve got you covered.

-Weddings & special occasions: Of course we cater and take care of the food on your very special day and LOVE doing it.

But at the end of the day a caterer is simply an extension of you. Your food, your orders, your requests done by us to make your life a little easier.

So stay tuned as my FAVORITE “foodie” time of the year is officially here. I will be posting weekly “take-n-bake” options as well as soup, stews, chili and oh my!!!

****Harvest Festival Menu Release****

We are bringing it back home this Saturday and opening the doors during the Plattsmouth Harvest Festival & grand parade. The festival menu Saturday will include:

-Philly Fries- Loaded Philly Cheesteak fries 🍟 🤯😍
-Loaded nachos: Pick your protein: chicken/pork/brisket
-Loaded Mac N cheese: Pick your protein. Same as above.
-Smoked chicken wings
-Pig Shots

I LOVE it when a bride’s vision becomes a super cute reality!!

I am absolutely loving these “cowboy boots” charcuterie cups for a bridal shower today. They are adorable!!! 🤠 🧀 🫒 🍅

Some of you may or may not know that I have had the honor of being the director of a non-profit for the past 8 years which gives back and takes care of our 1st responders serving & protecting Cass county. But we also like to have a little fun and cannot pass up the chance to have fun at the fair this weekend.

So we are introducing our first ever Food challenge this weekend. Wanna know what’s on the menu for this challenge?

Firehouse smoked chicken wings: Various levels of heat from
-traditional smoke on approach
-flames on approach. (Lightly seasoned with some kick-your-butts spices)
-full engulfed 🔥. You know these are gonna be SPICY!!!

On the other side of this challenge is our law enforcement folks so why not serve up:
-Paddy Wagons. Aka burgers lol!!! 🍔

Please stop out and say hi and check out our food challenge menu or get some of our traditional Que.

We will have quite a bit of our usual suspects and fan favorites!

A few pics of yesterday’s truck shenanigans! Lol!!

But wanted to take a minute and give you a HUGE SHOUT out to this lady right here! 🙌💪👇

She came into my life in December as I met her and her mom & step dad and let’s just say it took her 8 minutes to step in and run the back of the kitchen and the rest is history.

She has been my intern since then and soaks it all in with a love of food like I have. She listens, she learns and is usually always 1-2 steps behind me. There aren’t too many individuals I trust with anything in my life, but this young lady is one of them.

I am so proud of her and how she jumps in the truck with me, is resilient when we have folks lined up for orders, and steps in anytime it’s needed.

I know this one is going to do amazing things and will succeed in anything she does but right now I love being her boss and teaching her all the “ways of the force”. Hahahaha.

By the way, we had a keto friendly Ban Mi (pictured below) ans our newest menu addition, brisket rice bowls. YUMO!!! They seemed to be a hit!!!

These behemoth’s are reating after getting their smoke on and will be served up later with a cranberry/chipotle bbq sauce for $12/$15
