Already known as a lakeside destination for year-round outdoor activities just miles from Burlington, VT the Adirondacks and Montreal, Canada, the Plattsburgh area is now emerging as a go to city for music, the arts and more. PB&J Two ticket giveaway! September is Soul and Autumn Blues month, Plattsburgh Blues and Jazz is doing a DOUBLE concert on Friday Sept 13th at Retro Live. One band is a returnee, a big band that knocked every ones socks off with their high energy performance and kicking vocalists. The other artist has never been here before and is called The Prince of the Blues. give me some guesses and will pick a random answer. Details to be announced soon!

This Thursday, August 14th we are bringing the international supergroup, Gypsy Blue R***e to Twin Ponds Campsite for a epic concert evening. Dawn Tyler Watson is opening the show! Gypsy Blue R***e is a dynamic collaboration led by acclaimed guitarist JP Soars and his band The RedHots, joined by the internationally renowned electric violinist Anne Harris. It’s a blend of Gypsy Jazz, Blues, and Rock. JP Soars is an International Blues Challenge Winner and has earned the "Albert King Guitarist of the Year" award, along with multiple Blues Music Award nominations. Anne Harris has toured with bands such as Otis Taylor, Cracker, Keb Mo, and Taj Mahal, and is celebrated for her soulful, fiery electric violin performances. This supergroup performs at major festivals and is making a rare stop on this tour for an outside performance at The Twin Ponds Campground in Peru, NY, on Thursday, August 14th. Plus, we have an opening solo performance by none other than the queen of Canada's Blues and an award-winning vocalist, Dawn Tyler Watson! There’s both an outdoor stage and a covered stage for rain or shine. Food and drinks are provided by Dubbs BBQ and the food is outstanding! Doors open at 5pm and music starts at 6pm. It’s a family-friendly evening, and kids under 18 are welcome for free. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the concert!

We are taking the live concerts outside for the summer. Doors open at 5, live music starts at 6pm and we have Dawn Tyler Watson doing a few opening songs. Then it's the Gypsy Blue R***e coming to the stage at Twin Ponds Campsiteon Thursday August 14th! Going to be an incredible concert!
