Come on out THIS SUNDAY 12-2:30 at the Courtyard! 😊 Did you know that the CCommunity Courtyardwas originally bought by a group of community members trying to bring a library to Clinton County?! That was 30 years ago & we still don’t have a library. 🙁 A library is a resource that would enrich our community in so many ways - come hear how from FrFriends of the Clinton County Library enjoy a free lunch while you’re at it! As always - get out & exercise your right to vote!! 😁

We hope to see you on Sunday! Show your support for a public library in Clinton County and enjoy a free lunch provided by . Yard signs available- let’s line our streets in blue and encourage our neighbors to VOTE YES on April 8th.

What is the Table Fair? It’s a fundraising event sponsored by the Plattsburg, MO Chamber of Commerce. Local businesses, organizations, & community members sign up to sponsor a table for 8-10 people & decorate that table with whatever theme they wish! Tables cost $15 per seat & include a DELICIOUS lunch of 20+ punch bowls filled with different salads. Chicken salad, pasta salad, 7 layer salad, ramen noodle salad, & ham salad were a few we saw this year! There is always a dessert buffet like no other, with a wide variety of handpicked, single serving recipes! All salads & desserts are prepared & donated by trusted community members! Downstairs, there is a silent auction with items generously donated by local artisans & businesses. You never know what you’ll find. The profits from this fundraiser go to the Chamber & Community Courtyard - which in turn, gets poured right back into the community. It is always a lot of fun! Thank you to Sherri Shatto, Sue Hoover & all the other volunteers who make this day a success, year after year! The Courtyard likes to use this opportunity to announce the theme & date of our annual gala - which, as you can see - will be a Country & Western theme on SEPTEMBER 27th! Please save that date & plan to attend!! We are always so blown away by the creativity & magic that happens when community members come together! It’s the best part about living in a small town. 🥰

Come to the Courtyard this THURSDAY, March 13th to learn about the possibility of a library coming to Clinton County! 📚 Did you know that the Community Courtyard was purchased by a group of community members in 1993 with the intention to turn it into a library? They couldn’t get the votes to pass the tax 30 years ago. Let’s get it done this year! Get out & VOTE on April 8th! A library would be a great resource to so many community members & offers so much more than books in 2025! Join the Friends of the Clinton County Library Thursday to learn how & follow their page for more updates & information!

Our 2nd informational round table discussion this week is in PLATTSBURG. Thursday, 3/13, 6 pm at Community Courtyard. We hope you’ll join us! Imagine the possibilities of what modern library services can provide for you and your community.

February is over & spring is on the way! 💕🌸Special THANK YOU to Rick & Connie Tharp for DJing the Little Sweetheart’s Dance for us! We had 87 people attend the dance & it was so much fun for the kids & theirs dates! We’d also like to thank John at Plattsburg Floral & Gift for donating all the helium balloons for the event! We love our community & thank you for showing up & supporting our building! 😁 Every time we host a kid focused event, we’ve had an amazing turn out.
