Few late post updates. We headed over to Winter Springs for Sizzle and Splash FBA competition. We'll the Sizzle was there 🔥 🥵, but we didnt make alot of splash. We managed squeeze out another top 10 cook. Royal Oak Charcoal does it again.

Brisket long story ...no show

Bentley held his own in the heat 🥵, cooking against a lot of great up an coming pitmasters. Proud of this kid he really has a passion for this already. It's really cool to watch him advance.

We also cooked few weeks back, Up in Lake City FL Downtown BBQ Showdown. Great comp we managed a 4th in chicken.

What a thrill watching Heath Riles BBQ bring it Back to Back World Championships !! Congratulations again bro.

Entering the long hot summer break, so will be focused on working on bbq trailer maybe some upgrades coming.

What a great weekend, finally got ourselves back on track for this amazing event .in.paradise. This event is a must add to your BBQ schedule, exceptional venue for a epic BBQ competition. you guys rocked it !
Great time was had by everyone, maybe even some epic parties as well 😎.

For the cook most know weve went full on hot an fast in our cook program. Thats alot of change from low an slow , but this weekend we felt like things really flowed in the program. We close 4 really soild boxes this weekend.

Chicken 2nd place PERFECT 180 !
Prairie Fresh Ribs 5th
PRAIRIE FRESH Pork 17th
Snake River Farms Brisket 7th

Also this weekend was episode 3 of The Pitmaster council protein was random draw for Chicken an Pork Keepin’ It Smokin’ Competition BBQ again takes the WIN 🏆. We rolled south this weekend to Torry Island BBQ Showdown, this was our 1st trip here and wont be our last ,great contest. The team here does fantastic job with great swag bags and great hospitality. Bentley came along for the ride again to compete in KidsQ and took home some more hardware with 3rd place. Super proud papa.

Our cooks are getting smoother, still working through kinks with new cooking program. We closed 4 lids for the judges and came out ....

9th chicken 🐔
14th Ribs
3rd Pork
15th Brisket

We squeezed by in 3rd place Overall out of 35 great teams.

Also this weekend was the start of Pit master Council. This was lot of fun, trash talking, good times. We took a tie for 1st in Ribs and 4th in brisket this weekend. Lot of competition to go but this going be fun going forward.

Time to enjoy few weekends off for now from BBQ. Till mid April get back at it.

Well maybe things are turning around. We made the short ride to Brooksville FL, for Jeepin 4 Justice Off Road BBQ Showdown . Was joint event with Jeep trail riders , pretty cool. Team did a great job with this 1st year event , we managed to pull it up to a Jack Qualifier in a shark pool feild of great BBQ teams. Bentley got us off to a hot start with his 2nd place pork chop !

We getting our new program somewhat dialed in , still working some kinks out but when smoke cleared we stood.

Year in review. We closed out our 5th year as PRO another 2nd overall Team of the Year cooking in the Florida BBQ Association. We go head to head against some of best around week in an week out. This makes 3 years in a row 2nd overall , never been out of the top 5 in TOTY. Kinda of a cool stat 😎.

Well thats a wrap for 2025 !! QUE For A Cure, FL STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!! What a great way to wrap up the points chase for the Florida BBQ Association team of the year.

This competition always draws the best teams this year no exception. 33 pro teams battled it out and we cooked up some really soild boxes and judges mostly agreed with us.

Prairie Fresh Ribs 13th 😒 so good
Prairie Fresh Pork 7th
Snake River Farms 5th Brisket

6th Overall

Roni also had a cool side challenge called the PITMASTER CHALLENGE. It's old school BBQ Pitmasters format, where we had a 4 judge panel and 2 of the judges were pitmaster stars Lee Ann Whippen and Ray "Dr. BBQ" Lampe . We were super stoked to take down this challenge 🏆 1st place !! Chicken was the category 😎.
