The Farmhouse of Plainfield is a unique special wedding venue situated on 4 acres near the DuPage River. The original limestone house was built in 1850, with additional buildings added in subsequent years. Many of our guests—including couples who have been married on the property—call it magical. You’ll be dazzled by extensive gardens with an abundance of colorful flowers, cascading water features

, 7 fireplaces, patio string lights that add a special glow throughout the night, and beautifully restored limestone and brick buildings steeped in history.
