The Farmhouse of Plainfield is a unique special wedding venue situated on 4 acres near the DuPage River. The original limestone house was built in 1850, with additional buildings added in subsequent years. Many of our guests—including couples who have been married on the property—call it magical. You’ll be dazzled by extensive gardens with an abundance of colorful flowers, cascading water features

, 7 fireplaces, patio string lights that add a special glow throughout the night, and beautifully restored limestone and brick buildings steeped in history.

Hello and welcome!
We’re Stems and Petals, a boutique floral design studio proudly located inside The Farmhouse in Plainfield. As the in-house florist, we are thrilled to serve couples and clients both at The Farmhouse and beyond.

Our offerings include custom fresh floral arrangements, high-quality faux designs, and an extensive collection of event rentals to complement your vision and style.

We are now booking for 2025 and future events, and we would be honored to be part of your celebration.
