It sadly happened again this past weekend. We got the call that someone was cancelled on by their rental “company” just hours before their event and could we help? Yes, we did. That other “company” is no longer answering their phone and never returned the deposit.
There are a lot of scammers out there. It’s hard. One of the best ways to know if a company is legit - visit their store. When they are a local store with a brick and mortar location they are legit.
