Nonprofit philanthropic organization committed to serving our community. We sponsors a variety of exciting fundraising events each year.

Host your next special occasion at our Clubhouse facility. Overlooking the patio garden, seats 200 guest & parking. Serving the community for over 100 years! Welcome to the Placentia Round Table Women's Club. Our organization is a nonprofit philanthropic organization committed to serving our community. We meet the first Wednesday of the month October - June from 9:00am - 2pm. Lunch is available fo

r purchase. Go to or Club web page for more information and membership information. We hope you will join us for lunch! New members always welcomed. The club sponsors a variety of exciting fundraising events each year. Beginning in October, the club sells soup mix packages. Members gather to assemble soup mix and packages them for sale at various holiday boutiques/craft fairs in the area. In November the Club hosts Festival of the Trees. This event is a fun luncheon with beautifully decorated tree raffles and silent auction! Visit our Flickr page for pictures of this and other great Club events! Some of the local groups that receive gifts, money, or grants from these fundraisers are Christmas Clearing Bureau (which we founded); Boys and Girls Club; Homeless Intervention Shelter (H.I.S. House), and The Women's Transitional Living Center. In addition, the Placentia Round Table supports other community organizations such as the library, local fire and police departments, the Chamber of Commerce, and Founders Society with grants, equipment, and volunteer hours. Our Club also has a program which supplies needy children with jackets and shoes. We give many scholarships to local high school students. And we love our Veterans. There is a fun side to the Round Table, too. The Club offers a variety of Sections that provide activities for the club members from Bunco to a gourmet group. Gadabouts enjoy touring sites and attending plays. The Craft and Stitches group meets monthly often working on projects to donate to worthy causes. Bookworms love reviewing current books and the Mah Jong ladies have a great time placing those tiles. As the newly appointed President, JoAnn Sowards, with Evelyn Johnson and Annie Smith, our Veterans Chairs, presented a wreath at the annual memorial ceremony held at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton.

It was a beautiful morning giving honor to our veterans. In keeping with tradition, numerous flags were placed on the grave sites to honor those who have bravely served our country.

We had quite the gathering of members from the club who also turned out to support our veterans as we placed our wreath among the other great area service organizations.

It truly was memorable day as we also remembered our longtime member, Ysidora Brower, who bequeathed a very large sum of money to help keep our club viable.

We transformed the club, yet again, to say best wishes and Bon voyage to our Miss PYL title holders as they go to Miss California to compete in the Miss America Scholarship Program.

Receiving an award for her 50 years of service is Jean Redman. Jean is one of many of our long standing members who has helped contribute to our local community over the years.

Our club is well known for our generous hearts in supporting meals on wheels, women in need, the veterans, and scholarships for graduating PYLUSD seniors to name a few of the great organizations we support.
