Our patience was tested while for National Geographic with Cristina Mittermeier and Sea Legacy. Often we had to wait for weeks to catch a short glimpse of the elusive Rain Wolves of coastal British Columbia. Every now and again, however, we were rewarded by the piercing eyes of a wolf watching us. Wolves and humans have an ancient relationship, and love them or not, their presence is a powerful thing to behold.
