The weather was beautiful that one Saturday at Hartwood Acres Mansion. It was as if the day crafted itself perfectly for Tabitha and Pat’s wedding.  Or because the etsy witch was the worth her weight in gold. 

Every detail- floral, table placement, lace sign, and blade of grass made its debut as a memory that will be an everlasting one. The sweetest mems caught on 35mm film for the Carlsons will go down as one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve photographed to date.

When we get a new piece, we name it after the person we got it from.

Veronica was a Father’s Day gift from Cole to Andy. Three days later, a bride came in to look at rentals.

She saw the sofa and stopped.

“Oh my god. That looks just like my grandmother’s sofa.”

I laughed. “Funny you say that. Her name wasn’t Veronica, was it?”

“Yes.”

It was her grandmother’s. From West Mifflin. The same sofa she grew up with.

“I can’t believe you have it,” she said. “We were never allowed to sit on it.”

I smiled. “I know. It was covered in plastic.”

This is what vintage really means. It’s not just old furniture. It’s history. It’s memory. It’s people who aren’t physically there, but still get to show up.

That’s what we do.
