Has anyone else taken a somewhat obsessive interest in birds since Covid started? No? Just me?

In October, my wife and I moved to Economy, PA, on a very wooded acre of land. Which has lead me to:

➡️ Purchasing multiple bird feeders
➡️ Making multiple bird houses
➡️ Trading in old lenses to purchase a Sigma 150-600 (better for birds!)
➡️ Unrelated, but tapping maple trees in a somewhat successful effort to make maple syrup.

Anyways, this is my favorite shot I've taken so far. Red-tailed hawk looking like she is ready to attack, but truth be told she was dropping a deuce 😂. Or maybe doing her best impression of a turkey?

Pretty sure this hawk is a female. I've actually watched her sn**ch a purple finch right from my bird-feeder, which is apparently very uncharacteristic for this species.

Hard to believe just a few years ago I didn't know these two awesome humans. Now I am lucky enough to call them close friends.

Last night's supermoon. 🌕

Right place, right time. We were feeling some cabin fever and decided to go dahntahn with the camera. This was on my yinztography bucket list, and was happy to have lucked into it.
