I love using faux florals in my own home, but only when they’re styled right! 💐✨

Here are my dos and don’ts for keeping your faux florals simple and so convincing people will be doing a double take!

❌ Don’t go cheap! Low-quality faux florals often look stiff, overly shiny, and way too artificial. If you’re investing in decor that will last, choose high-quality stems with natural colors. I promise, a little extra investment goes a long way!

✅ Keep it simple. Stick to one or two types of blooms per arrangement. Mixing too many varieties can make your arrangement look busy or fake. Clean, minimal combos are your best friend!

Faux flowers can bring just as much charm as fresh florals (with a longer shelf life!).

Did you know that faux flowers can be stunning and long-lasting IF they are done right?! As a floral designer, I’ve learned a few tricks to make artificial blooms look just like the real thing!

Here’s how:

💐 Pick stems that are high-quality, with colors that actually exist in nature.

💐 Mix with real greenery like eucalyptus to give it a more natural feel.

💐 Add water to your container or vase. This simple trick gives the illusion of fresh-cut stems!

💐 Choose the right container. The vase or container you pick changes the whole arrangement.

With these tips, no one will ever know your flowers aren’t fresh from the garden! 🌸 Are you going to give these tips a try?
