"Hello! We are Katelyn and Lauren-two halves that make up the whole of The Peddler. We are two good friends turned business partners trying our best to be curious and find wonder in the world. We spend our days growing, drying, and creating with dried flowers because they soothe our weary (and overstimulated!) souls and bring us joy.

We hold space for the despair of the world, but also know that all things can be redeemed so we create beauty as a signpost to the healing and abundance we believe is still possible. Last year we purchased a flower freeze- dryer so that we could preserve some harder to dry flowers and create with them in all sorts of gifts, wreaths, bouquets, wedding and installation work. We had a fun afternoon creating this custom installation .studio for their upcoming Mother's Day photo sessions. We love the creative process and the ability of dried flowers to endure and bring long lasting beauty. When this installation comes down, we'll be able to reuse many of these elements in future designs making it a much more sustainable option than fresh. Grateful for the return of spring and the sounds of the birds. It feels so good to be working with these colors again. New items dropped .pgh and more to come. The horrors persist but so do we.

Spent some time designing recently simply for the joy of it. It's good for my soul to get my hands on the blooms that were warmed and ripened by the sun only just a few months ago. Dried flowers create so much opportunity for magical possibilities.
