We are the team behind Soul Pasta—a small, growing, family-owned local business. We live right here in Blawnox with our children, and we proudly call this community our home.
Today, we want to share something that is very close to our hearts.
🚒 We are hosting a special charity event to support our local volunteer fire department and express our deepest gratitude to our firefighters for everything they do every single day.
We know firsthand how vital their service is to each and every one of us. They give us peace of mind, knowing that if an emergency ever strikes, they will be there to protect us.
To give back, we are hosting a special Soul Pasta Pop-Up for all our neighbors, friends, and guests! 🍝
We’ll be cooking our fresh, handcrafted pasta live on-site, and 50% of all sales proceeds from the event will go directly to support our local fire station. ❤️🚒
To us, this isn’t just another pop-up or a chance to sell pasta.
It is our way of saying:
“Thank you for everything you do for our community.”

🥬Stuffed Cabbage
This is true «soul food.» Often cooked in a sweet and savory tomato sauce, which makes the flavor deep and cozy.
How to cook:
1. Blanch cabbage leaves until soft.
2. For the filling, mix ground beef, rice, and sautéed onions.
3. Roll them up tight and place them in a pot.
4. Cover with a mix of tomato sauce, a splash of vinegar, and a bit of sugar (for that perfect balance). Simmer on low for 1.5–2 hours.
🫑Stuffed Peppers
A bright and easy dish that families love to bake with a melted cheese topping.
How to cook:
1. Core the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
2. Fill them with a mix of browned ground beef, cooked rice, and Italian herbs.
3. Place the peppers in a baking dish with a little water or sauce at the bottom.
4. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 40 minutes. Five minutes before they’re done, top generously with shredded cheddar.

We’d like to sincerely thank the organizers of NFL Draft 2026 for giving us the opportunity to showcase our culinary skills and be part of such a massive and meaningful event for our city, Pittsburgh, and the entire country.
As a small local business still building our journey, we were incredibly honored to cook for both visitors coming to the city and the people of Pittsburgh. It was an amazing experience, and we’re proud that we successfully handled such a big opportunity.
Being selected from 17,000 applications and making it into the top 1% of chosen companies is something we’ll never forget.
A special thank you as well for organizing a vendor appreciation party — it was a great chance to connect with others in the industry outside of work, share experiences, and enjoy the moment together.
We also truly appreciated the kindness shown to our children, who had the opportunity to attend NFL Draft 2026 and witness the scale of this incredible event firsthand. Those memories will stay with our family forever.
This was an unforgettable experience, and now we’re ready for new heights.
