Attention future brides— have you thought about preserving your wedding flowers so they can be cherished for years instead of just a few days?
A few tips if you’re considering floral preservation:
• Let your florist know ahead of time that you plan to preserve your bouquet.
• Choose a mix of flower sizes. Larger blooms like roses need about a 3” depth in a mold, while smaller accent flowers work best for pieces like ornaments or thinner trays.
• Book early to avoid disappointment — preservation spots fill up quickly.
• I always recommend saving more flowers than needed so we can choose the very best blooms for your piece.
• Each flower is carefully protected with multiple layers of acrylic spray to help preserve both the color and structure before resin is poured.
• My brides are welcome to visit the workshop and design their layout once the flowers are fully dried.
• When choosing a resin artist, always zoom in on their work and look closely at the details.
• Not sure if your flowers will preserve well? Always ask!
I’m always happy to answer questions and help you plan the perfect keepsake from your wedding flowers!
