Our Story- The Soos Family
David and Priscilla Soos have worked together for 27 years in Hospitality Industry (5 companies together!) and where they first met each other. Pine Peaks wedding and event center will make number six. The past 10 years for Priscilla and 15 years for David spent working for Morrissey hospitality. The two started at the St. Paul Hotel over ten + years ago. Priscilla as the General Manager of The M Street Cafe, Room service, Lobby Coffee, Lobby Bar, and their Tea program. David started as the General Manager of The Saint Paul Grill and is currently the Director of Restaurants for Morrissey Hospitality, overseeing 9 of their properties.
Priscilla stepped down from her General Manager’s position to focus on their children’s education. They were moved from the Minneapolis School district to the Wayzata School district and Priscilla became their professional chauffeur. She stayed on with Morrissey Hospitality and moving into their Banquet Department executing Banquets / Weddings and Golf tournaments with multiple properties. Which is an area she has enjoyed working in for the past 7 years. During this time, she also worked for Delta global services a contract of Delta airlines where she was an operations trainer. A role that came with benefits allowing her and her family the opportunity to travel.
Priscilla is also the Author and speaker of ‘In His Image for Teen Girls’, using the topics in her book to speak to various teen groups. She has been ordained to officiate weddings, a new addition that she is very excited about.
She was born and raised Minnesota, her mother was in Mental Health, father was an Electrical engineer and associate pastor for Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church holding a Doctorate in Theology. Both parents are happily retired and her father in his retirement is teaching at Summit Academy in Minneapolis.
