Stella hooks up with ‘Love is Blind’ stars

Stella Artois is doing its part to help the wedding industry, or at least one lucky couple. The Anheuser-Busch InBev brand is partnering with “Love is Blind” stars Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton on a promotion in which the beer brand pledges to pay for the wedding of a couple who gets engaged during the social distancing era. The Hamiltons gained fame when they appeared in the Netflix reality show that tests if people can fall in love and get engaged without ever seeing each other. Lauren and Cameron got married in November 2018.

On Thursday, Stella will sponsor a live stream on Lauren’s Instagram channel during which the couple will “share tips and tricks on how to make a connection from afar.,” according to the Anheuser-Busch InBev-owned brand. To enter the free wedding contest, couples must have gotten engaged between March 13 and May 25 and tag the brand on Twitter with “ ,” as well as attach a photo, video or audio of the engagement. According to the rules, it is not explicitly required that couples get engaged while physically apart, but the criteria includes “creativity originality; and photo composition.” Cameron and Lauren will select the winner.

Recently, an older gentleman stopped by the shop to pick up flowers to give his wife on their anniversary. He told us that he buys the same flowers she had in her bridal bouquet every year for their anniversary. How romantic? And how awesome is it that he even knows and remembers which flowers to buy?
On that day they were celebrating their 37th anniversary.

In addition to the "normal" stuff, like Save the Date Cards, Invitations, Thank You's and Seating Cards, many brides are opting to have a logo designed specifically for them. Used on all the paper products listed above, napkins, banners, floor runners and more, even having their fine glassware etched with it. I've done about 100 different bride logos/monograms and will posts pics tonight. Did you have this done when you married, or are you considering it for upcoming nuptials? A gal asked me for some tips/ideas for a firefighter themed wedding so I will load a file of pics of my favorites here in a little bit. For now, here is a pic of centerpieces I did for a banquet at the PCFD, that would also be great for a wedding reception. One style is a firefighter boot, the other style is a red firetruck, each are ceramic. I did these in 2008 so I'm still looking for better pics (pre-Facebook era). {mary}
