Our Story
The Fall Creek Falls Community Action Group is a non-profit organization that maintains the Fall Creek Falls Community Center. The Center may be reserved for events such as family reunions, birthday parties, wedding receptions, anniversary parties, and even benefit auctions. It can be used for a monetary fee based on the time that you use it. $65.00 for anything up to four hours or $85.00 for anything over four hours on a daily rate. This money is used to maintain the center in way of utilities, upkeep and supplies. Please note: this building or its contents may not be used for personal monetary gain. The Action Group is made up members of the Community here in Fall Creek Falls, that volunteer their time to maintain the center for public use. We have a business meeting scheduled the last Tuesday of every month, with the exception of December, accompanied by a covered dish pot luck dinner at 6:00 PM CST. The public is encouraged to attend these meetings, as we are always looking for new members to add to the group or for someone to volunteer their time to help in maintain the center.
The Center has a spacious multipurpose room with tables and chairs provided, a full kitchen with a convection oven and conventional oven and stovetop, a short order grill, a set of deep fryers, ice machine, refrigerator, microwave and steam table. The size of the tables and number of tables are as follows; three serving tables 36”x72” 10 rectangular shaped tables 30”x72” and 6 round tables that are 60’. The grounds at the center have a full sized basket ball court, a paved level walking track (that has recently been retrofitted with lighting for evening walks), covered picnic pavilion with picnic tables and a charcoal grill and playground equipment. These outdoor amenities are available anytime to the public at no charge from sunup to sundown. If you use the grounds or the building we ask that you follow some simple rules. Please leave the area cleaner that you found it, remove all your trash from the building and grounds, leave the equipment, tables and chairs the way you found them. Do not bring pets into the building unless they are a registered service animal. Do not smoke inside the building. Do not bring alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs into the building or on the premises. If anything is found to be damaged or destroyed after you have used the building the person, or persons that made the reservation will be responsible for paying for said damages. The Fall Creek Falls Community Action Group is not responsible for accidents that occur on these premises.
