Memories hold tighter to your heartstrings when you get married in the Smoky Mountains. It's the way the rain moves across the ridges and butterflies dance from flower to flower... it will make your heart flutter every single time! Rebecca and Ronald decided the Smokies were exactly where they'd like to say, "I Do," and I'm so glad they did! Witnessing a love as deep as theirs always fills my heart with joy. It's one of the many reasons I wake up smiling every day!

The moments leading up to when you take each other's hand to make sacred promises always have the highest emotion. It's when you have butterflies in your tummy. There are a hundred thoughts happening simultaneously. Today I am grateful for Lauren Reeves Photography for capturing these moments between Rebecca and Ronald. I felt these images deserved to have their own spotlight, apart from all the other breathtaking photos captured that day. (And yes, I'll show those to you as well!)

Weddings so hot we were thankful for the officiant who couldnโ€™t smell! Other behind the scenes moments include harp by Kim Perkins, photos by Karen Boles, and the sweetest Dad who walked the bride down the aisle

In only six to to eight weeks, the venue will start looking like THIS! Magical autumn colors will mix with morning fog and the crickets will trill at a pace that matches your first dance as a married couple. YES! I said it. YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED!

We chased the light until it disappeared with the sun at Karen and William's wedding! The air was electric as they exchanged personal vows to each other, every word charged with the quiet intensity of two people who have found their forever.

The greatest joy for me at Honeysuckle Hills is witnessing two people give their love to each other effortlessly. Every touch, every kiss came as naturally as breathing for Karen and William.
