A New Chapter Begins🤍

Good afternoon y’all, we are thrilled to share the exciting news that Cody and I (Linette) are the new owners of Popple Creek Wedding & Events. For many years, owning and operating a wedding venue has been more than a dream—it has been a passion that has guided our hearts and shaped our vision for the future. To see that dream come to life here at Popple Creek is an incredible honor, and we are deeply grateful for this opportunity.

From the moment we first stepped onto the property, we felt the magic of this place. The natural beauty, the peaceful setting, and the thoughtful details woven throughout the venue that reflect the dedication and care that Meghan and Bryan poured into creating Popple Creek.
We want to express our heartfelt appreciation to them for building such a stunning and intentional space. Their hard work and vision have made Popple Creek what it is today, and we are committed to honoring that legacy as we move forward.

As we begin this new chapter, our mission is simple:
to continue providing a warm, welcoming, and unforgettable experience for every couple and every celebration.

Hello All! Meghan here🙋🏻‍♀️❤️🎄It’s such an amazing time of year with winter upon us, Christmas around the corner and the extra joy that I hope you all get to experience this festive season! We are in the business of CELEBRATING, and this past month has been full of just that! We have big news and we are thrilled to share it with you!…

Bryan and I (meghan) have officially passed the champagne bottle of ownership to our friends, Linette and Cody! (Today!) That’s right! They are now the proud Owners of Popple Creek Wedding and Events!🍾 They will further introduce themselves in posts to come, but Bryan and I would first like to very sincerely, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK each and everyone one of you who have supported us along this incredible love story of our wedding venue! Family, friends, neighbors, local business owners and we can’t forget our amazing bartenders!! We couldn’t have done it without you! It started with our engagement, on the island💍in 2017 and our wedding was the first in 2018! Seven years went by and we celebrated cousins, friends and neighbors weddings at Popple Creek! ❤️💚OUR PARENTS have been the most incredible from day one.❤️💚 There were hours and hours of mowing, landscaping, babysitting, set up, chasing kids around the ceremony area, paddle boat rides, donkey chasing and ensuring the important wedding details were in place and the markets had the most special, personal touches for the day! 👩🏻‍🌾
This is my passion—- loving and supporting people in their joys—- and I hope ALL of you have felt that if you’ve been at a wedding or market at Popple Creek! We WILL still be a part of the weddings and markets, (can’t keep me away lol) to ensure the most seamless change, to celebrate with you and to be there for anything the fantastic new owners need💚
🎉CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW OWNERS, Cody and Linette🍾🙌 This is the most rewarding “job” we have ever been able to have and it give us great joy l pass it on to you! It’s the best and this community is the BEST. You will do amazing!
